Easy Hot Fudge Pudding

This looks and tastes so good!!!!You can make it look fancier by placing a cherry on the top of the whipped topping, by shaving some chocolate on top or using chocolate chips and, or nuts. Use what ever you like.

1 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbsp. melted margarine or shortening
1 cup nuts(opt)

Stir together and spread into a 9" square pan.

Then mix:
1 cup brown sugar(packed)
1 1/4 cups hot water
4 Tbsp. cocoa

Pour entire mixture over the mixture you placed in the pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. The cake mixture will rise to the top and the chocolate sauce settles to the bottom. Serve warm with a dab of whipped topping.
