Christmas Party Mints

4oz. cream cheese

1/2 tsp. mint flavoring(you can use any flavors that you like, I like to make some with rum, cherry, pineapple, any kind will work.

3 cups sifted powdered sugar(if you don't have a flour sifter any strainer will work. Just use the bottom of a cup or glass to work the powdered sugar through it to get out any lumps.)

Mix ingredients together.

I divide my dough into 2 piles on wax paper and add a few drops of food coloring to each pile so I can get both red and green.

You can purchase rubber candy molds at any craft store, like michael's or hobby lobby. They are quite cheap. If you use molds simply roll your dough into small balls and roll each ball in granukated sugar before pressing them in the molds. The sugar will make it so they come out of the molds easier.

If you don't want to buy molds you can roll out the dough into long ropes and roll the ropes in granulated sugar then simply slice off small pieces.

For either way you may use colored sugar instead if you like. You can make your own colored sugar just by adding food coloring to granulated sugar and mixing it in very good.

Let dry for while before using.
